 Use Policy

Reservation of Facilities

 

1.     Responsible party:  The responsible party is the person who signs this Room Use Policy.  That person is responsible for any breakage or damage to the building or its furnishings.  It is understood that the cost of repair or replacement or to make a claim to their insurance company will be the responsibility of said party.  It is also this person’s responsibility to make a claim to their insurance company.

2.     Registered Parishioner Status: Registered parishioners are those who at the time of the rental contribute financially to and are registered with the parish for at least six (6) months.

3.   The Buildings of St. Joseph Parish are SMOKE-FREE Facilities

4.     St. Joseph Parish reserves the right to evaluate and determine each request for Rental on an individual basis.  Parish Sanctioned functions shall have precedence over other usage.     

5.       Set-up:  All set up of tables, chairs, etc. are the responsibility of the renter. 

6.       Clean-up: Unless Renter has paid a Clean-up Fee, all clean up must be completed by end of time reserved, and room found in an acceptable condition. Vacuum cleaner and cleaning supplies are located in the Emmaus Room closet and in the custodial closet located in the hallway outside the Emmaus Room.   Failure to comply may result in the assessment of a cleaning fee of $20 or loss of future use of facilities.

7.       Decorating:  Decorations are limited to tables and floor.  (Balloon archways, centerpieces, etc) No wall hangings will be permitted unless otherwise approved by the hall administrator.

8.       Supplies: All necessary consumable supplies for the event must be furnished by the renters.  This includes but is not limited to: plates, cutlery, drinking cups/glasses, table paper, cleaning supplies, and condiments.  No property of St. Joseph parish shall be removed from the building.

9.       Use of Kitchen is not permitted unless specifically requested at time of reservation

10.   Disturbances:  The renter is responsible for advising their guests that rowdy or disturbing behavior requires that the offending guest(s) vacate the premises immediately. 

11.   Music (Weekend Room Use only):  To respect the sacredness of Mass, music for the event is not allowed until after the last Mass Saturday and Sunday.    Music must stop by 11:30 p.m.

12.   Use of Telephone:  No long distance calls.  You must enter 9 and wait for dial tone before placing local calls.

 

 

 

Failure to comply with any of the applicable responsibilities will result in the assessment of a cleaning fee or forfeiture of future use of the facilities.
