Mark your calendars!   March 8th and 9th:  Class Mass hosted by 1st and 3rd Graders - please join us! March 15th & 16th:  Class - Virtus Parent Meeting 6:30 pm March 22nd & 23rd:  Seder Meal.  All classes will meet in the gym to participate in a seder meal and discussion on The Last Supper. All are welcome! March 29th & 30th:  Class.  7th and 8th Graders will be viewing "Come What May". April 5th & 6th:  No Class - Spring Break

Tuesday Dinners! Please bring your family and join us for food and fellowship before classes at 5:45 in the Gym.

 Dinners will not be held on Mass Nights.

Last Monday Night Dinner will be May 3rd.

  Parent Information

Monday Nights  New—Family Dinners!!  Please join us about once a month at 5:45 p.m. for a voluntary dinner with your family (consult calendar/website).  On these nights, everyone will come to the gym for opening prayer at 6:15 and will depart from the gym at 7:30 after their class time.  Please see Mentor upon dropping off and picking up your child.  If we are not having dinner, use school doors and pick up/drop off children inside the building.

Tuesday Nights Meet and depart from gym.  Come in through Emmaus doors. Common prayer and dismissal to class will begin at 6:15.  Join us for prayer at 7:25.  Dismissal from gym is at 7:30 p.m.  Please see Mentor upon dropping off and picking up your child.

Mass Nights  Please join us as these are part of our catechesis and your children will be participating in them. 

Communication  Please view Parent Board for weekly updates, emails will also be sent home.  Classroom art work is hung in the Emmaus Room Hallway.  Please call or email if your child will be absent.    

Bad Weather  We follow Howell Public Schools schedule if there is to be a closure.  Also, consult website and look for emails.

Allergies and Disabilities  Please talk to Mentor directly about health or other issues.  We have made our classrooms nut-free zones and will limit our treats to hard candy.  We will continue to have our celebrations in the gym and parents are encourage to attend. 

Other Information

* Tests for 5th and 8th Grades will be given twice a year. 

* Please practice prayers given out at registration and participate in the Question of the week.

* Sign-up’s:  Christmas Program, Easter Gathering, Host Family Dinner Help, Children’s Mass Help (10:00 Sunday).  We really need your help!

* Children’s Choir:  K-5th Grade, Practice 5:45 to 6:15 every Monday Starting September 21st.

* Adult Faith Formation:  Tuesday Nights 6:25 to 7:30.  Child care available for those who attend classes.  Call Deb Amato if you have any questions.

* We collect VG receipts.  Thanks to your receipts, we were able to purchase two Dvd’s:  The Rosary and The Life and Times of Pope John Paul II. 

* There is an award for Perfect Attendance.
