Children's Faith Formation Teachers Needed!!!   Are you willing to share your faith and love of God with our young people?  Volunteers are needed for many grades of Religious Education.

 Lifelong Faith Formation

Religious education is provided for persons from kindergarten through adult. 

Children's Religious Education

Kindergarten - 8th grade students on Monday and Tuesday evening.

Sacramental Preparation

First Eucharist: Students spend first and second grade in preparation for First Reconciliation and First Eucharist.  Students must have attended one year of Faith Formation at St. Joseph prior to entering into a sacramental year.  Contact Faith Formation office for more information.

Confirmation:

Students in grades 9-12 have the opportunity to begin preparing for the sacrament of Confirmation, allowing each individual student time for study, thought, and prayer before the commitment to becoming confirmed is set.

Children's Sunday Liturgy of the Word

Our youngest members come together for prayer, instruction on the Gospel and fellowship each Sunday during the 10:00 am Mass.  From September through May, simply listen for the call  to the children to participate in Children's Liturgy.  Adult volunteers are needed in this ministry.  Contact Faith Formation for more information.

Classes Begin September 15 & 16, 2008

Mandatory Parent meeting

Monday night: 6:15 pm - 7:30 pm

Tuesday night:

Optional Family Meal 5:45 pm - 6:10 pm

 

Volunteers to help in the Kitchen!!  Will train!! Experience not necessary......
