This 7-part series teaches how to cooperate with God during prayer, and allowing Him to act more fully in our lives.  Seven 30-minute videos complete a pilgrimage of prayer filmed on location in Rome, Assisi, Siena, and Subia, Italy.
Session One-- "I thirst" (Jn 19:28).  Jesus thirsts; God thirsts that we may thirst for him.
Session Two--The Battle for Prayer; "The Spirit helps us in our weakness; for we do not know how to pray as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us" (Romans 8:26).  What do you tend to be distracted by during prayer?
Session Three--Trust and Surrender; "Do not be anxious about your life" (Mt 6:25). "Jesus, I trust in you."
Session Four--Meeting God in the Valley; "Blessed are the poor in spirit" (Mt. 5:3). God wants to meet us in the valley of humility.
Session Five--The Living Flame of Love; "For our God is a consuming fire" (Heb 12:29).  The fire of God's love wants to transform us entirely.
Session Six--In the World, Not of the World; "Do not be conformed to this world but be transformed by the renewal of your mind" (Romans 12:2). We need interior stillness and peace to hear the voice of God.
Session Seven--Radiating Christ; "We all...are being changed into his [the Lord's] likeness" (2 Cor 3:18). Holiness is found in the imitation of Jesus Christ.
Saints serve as our guides through this seven-part series; what God did in the lives of saints, he wants to do in the lives of ordinary people like us. The saints and other well-known spiritual writers will help you on this journey.
