Order of Christian Initiation for Adults
(age 17 and older)
OCIA is a personalized process to help adults and entire families come into relationship with God through the full sacramental life of the Church.
If you are seeking Confirmation, Eucharist, or Baptism, we feel privileged to accompany you.
Becoming Catholic is a process. Your questions, concerns, and even your objections are welcome into every conversation. We’ll talk about the goodness of God the Father, the rescue mission of Jesus Christ, and the power and presence of the Holy Spirit. We’ll talk about the Church as the Family of God and the sacraments as family celebrations by which God draws ever closer to us. We’ll learn about Scripture and prayer and the beautiful effects of both.
If you are an older teen (17 or older), an adult, or a family who senses the Lord calling you into deeper relationship with Him, please call Tim Carpenter at 517-546-0090 ex. 111.
We are able to meet with individuals or groups for these great conversations.
Meeting times are Thursday evenings from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. in the Mary Room in our Faith Formation building.
